[PATCH v2 1/7] mm: remove arch_flush_lazy_mmu_mode()

From: Kevin Brodsky <hidden>
Date: 2025-09-08 07:40:39
Also in: linux-arm-kernel, linux-mm, lkml, sparclinux, xen-devel
Subsystem: arm64 port (aarch64 architecture), linux for powerpc (32-bit and 64-bit), memory management - core, sparc + ultrasparc (sparc/sparc64), the rest, x86 architecture (32-bit and 64-bit) · Maintainers: Catalin Marinas, Will Deacon, Madhavan Srinivasan, Michael Ellerman, Andrew Morton, David Hildenbrand, "David S. Miller", Andreas Larsson, Linus Torvalds, Thomas Gleixner, Ingo Molnar, Borislav Petkov, Dave Hansen

This function has only ever been used in arch/x86, so there is no
need for other architectures to implement it. Remove it from
linux/pgtable.h and all architectures besides x86.

The arm64 implementation is not empty but it is only called from
arch_leave_lazy_mmu_mode(), so we can simply fold it there.
