[RFC PATCH v4 22/28] x86: Do not specify encrypted memory for video mappings
From: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com>
Date: 2017-02-16 15:48:09
Also in:
kvm, linux-arch, linux-iommu, linux-mm, lkml
Subsystem:
drm driver for usb displaylink video adapters, drm drivers, drm drivers and misc gpu patches, drm ttm subsystem, framebuffer core, framebuffer layer, the rest, x86 architecture (32-bit and 64-bit) · Maintainers:
Dave Airlie, David Airlie, Simona Vetter, Maarten Lankhorst, Maxime Ripard, Thomas Zimmermann, Christian Koenig, Huang Rui, Helge Deller, Linus Torvalds, Thomas Gleixner, Ingo Molnar, Borislav Petkov, Dave Hansen
Since video memory needs to be accessed decrypted, be sure that the memory encryption mask is not set for the video ranges.
