[PATCH v0 08/10] net: phy: Try looking for a phy-handle property to find the OF node

From: Jamie Lentin <hidden>
Date: 2016-07-16 15:03:28
Also in: linux-arm-kernel, linux-devicetree, lkml
Subsystem: ethernet phy library, networking drivers, the rest · Maintainers: Andrew Lunn, Heiner Kallweit, Andrew Lunn, "David S. Miller", Eric Dumazet, Jakub Kicinski, Paolo Abeni, Linus Torvalds

If PHY is registered via. a DSA switch, the MDIO bus the phy is on does
not exist in devicetree, but there may be a reference to the PHY node
on the physical MDIO bus to use.
