Sure I will remove the inline function. There are total 8 instances where the above two inline functions are called. So if I removed these inline functions there are two approaches to address the 8 instances. 1. Instead of calling these functions, I should use the return logic "(u32) (addr[4] | addr[5] << 8);" at all the 8 instances. 2. I can define a macro for this logic and call the macro for all the 8 instances. Please let me know which approach should I go with. Also if you have any other approach, please let me know.
