You submitted this patch to net as well. I guess, it should be merged to net. After net is merged into net-next we can proceed with the EtherType steering?
Yes, my intention is to make sure anyone who wants to the EthType steering will be aware of this patch. That is why I am sending the patch in both net and net-next with a cover letter to inform about the dependency.
