[PATCH 01/29] sysctl: remove impossible condition check

From: Eric W. Biederman <hidden>
Date: 2012-01-27 04:49:31
Also in: linux-fsdevel, lkml
Subsystem: filesystems (vfs and infrastructure), proc filesystem, proc sysctl, the rest · Maintainers: Alexander Viro, Christian Brauner, Kees Cook, Joel Granados, Linus Torvalds

From: Lucas De Marchi <redacted>

Remove checks for conditions that will never happen. If procname is NULL
the loop would already had bailed out, so there's no need to check it
again.

At the same time this also compacts the function find_in_table() by
refactoring it to be easier to read.
