Andy, Your setup sounds very similar to mine, and I am not hitting the error. I am running Gentoo on AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ with 512MB RAM. My r8169 adapter (8110 chipset) is integrated in my MoBo. How is your setup different? Thanks, -- Jon Mason jdmason@us.ibm.com
