Looks like you removed the device and then added it back?  And it says
the device is supported by the kernel now, what does not work properly?
But earlier in boot these messages are seen:

ProductId is different, that's strange.

Neil, could you collect the dmesg from the working kernel 5.10 please?
And: is the device expected to be a mass storage (aka USB disk) and sound card in one?
