[PATCH v2 2/3] rtc: pcf2127: move watchdog initialisation to a separate function

From: Rasmus Villemoes <hidden>
Date: 2020-12-11 22:52:45
Also in: lkml
Subsystem: real time clock (rtc) subsystem, the rest · Maintainers: Alexandre Belloni, Linus Torvalds

From: Uwe Kleine-König <redacted>

The obvious advantages are:

 - The compiler can drop the watchdog functions if CONFIG_WATCHDOG is off.
 - All watchdog stuff grouped together with only a single function call
   left in generic code.
 - Watchdog register is only read when it is actually used.
 - Less #ifdefery

Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <redacted>
[RV: check return value of pcf2127_watchdog_init(), per Bruno]
