Subject: RAID5/6 Offload via IOATDMA

Hi. I'm trying to get additional information about this feature. I know that
there were some patches added since 2.6.32 for more recent xeon
processors. I'm having a hard time getting specifics on the hardware required
around this.
Am I at the right list to inquire about this feature?
I think this is what you are looking for:
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/embedded/hwsw/hardware/xeon-c5500-c3500-3420/overview
Thanks so much! So any motherboard with a 3420 chipset should have this technology or is it embedded in the processor?
