Also XFree reports refresh rate code 7

Ok so its not the refresh rate either. What else can we check?

A05

Hmm, try to update, I have A16
Where did you find that at. All I get when I enter my service tag of
7bpap on the website is an A14.
Seems you have an CPx H, while I have a CPx J.
But I don't know what the difference is.
I'm also not sure yet how I'm going to do this. There's no windows
partition and I don't have a floppy drive.

Perhaps I can do something creative with a bootable CD and a bootable
floppy image.
That should be possible.
