Re: [Bluez-users] discovering passkey

Hi Richard,
I acquired an Xterasys BSH201 stereo headset. The documentation
doesn't list a passkey. Apparently some magic happens with Windows.
Hcitool scan finds the device and I can use l2ping with the mac
address, but guessing at default pass codes (0000, 1234, etc) has
failed. I contacted the vendor, but so far no response.
So, is it possible to discover a BT device passkey?
no it is not. If you wanna have detailed information you might wanna
search the Internet for Bluetooth PIN cracking methods.

Regards

Marcel
