Hi,

Does anybody know the meaning of HCI version in hciconfig –a ?

I have a dongle (HYPERLINK
"http://www.globalsat.com.tw/eng/product_detail_00000057.htm"http://www.glob
alsat.com.tw/eng/product_detail_00000057.htm) which should be Bluetooth 2.0
+ EDR. This is what is says on Globalsats homepage and in Bluetooth
Qualified Product Listing Notice from SGS.

BUT:

# hciconfig hci0 version

hci0: Type: USB

BD Address: 00:0D:B5:21:02:54 ACL MTU: 384:8 SCO MTU: 64:8

HCI Ver: 1.2 (0x2) HCI Rev: 0x7a6 LMP Ver: 1.2 (0x2) LMP Subver:
0x7a6

        Manufacturer: Cambridge Silicon Radio (10)

Is HCI Ver the same as supported Bluetooth version?

Mvh
