Thank you Thomas for the suggestion, but KDE-Bluetooth does not
appear to be available for Debian PowerPC. I haven't been able to
get GNOME-Bluetooth running.

If you have kde-bluetooth you can choose them in the bluetooth
adapter control 
panel.
