[RFC v2 3/4] ext4: add verifier check for symlink with append/immutable flags

flat view

From: "Luis R. Rodriguez" <mcgrof@kernel.org>
Date: 2018-05-10 23:14:08
Also in: linux-btrfs, linux-ext4, linux-fsdevel, linux-xfs, lkml
Subsystem: ext4 file system, filesystems (vfs and infrastructure), the rest · Maintainers: "Theodore Ts'o", Alexander Viro, Christian Brauner, Linus Torvalds

The Linux VFS does not allow a way to set append/immuttable
attributes to symlinks, this is just not possible. If this is
detected inform the user as the filesystem must be corrupted.
