For readability and maintainability: please use
strlen("color.interactive."), not 18.

Feel like conventional:

    git grep -C2 prefixcmp builtin/apply.c builtin/archive.c
builtin/branch.c builtin/checkout.c

But maybe 18 characters are too long. ;-)
