[PATCH v3 0/5] completion: trivial cleanups and fixes

Just a few simpliciations, improvements, and add some missing options.

This series depends on the bash completion tests patch.

Since v2:

 * Add 'git --option <TAB>' fix
 * Improve --exec-path patch
