[PATCH v4 07/15] x86/paravirt: switch time pvops functions to use static_call()

From: Juergen Gross via Virtualization <hidden>
Date: 2021-01-20 20:17:56
Also in: kvm, linux-hyperv, lkml, xen-devel
Subsystem: clocksource, clockevent drivers, hyper-v/azure core and drivers, kvm paravirt (kvm/paravirt), paravirt_ops interface, the rest, vmware hypervisor interface, x86 architecture (32-bit and 64-bit), xen hypervisor interface, xen hypervisor x86 · Maintainers: Daniel Lezcano, Thomas Gleixner, "K. Y. Srinivasan", Haiyang Zhang, Wei Liu, Dexuan Cui, Long Li, Paolo Bonzini, Juergen Gross, Linus Torvalds, Ajay Kaher, Alexey Makhalov, Ingo Molnar, Borislav Petkov, Dave Hansen, Stefano Stabellini

The time pvops functions are the only ones left which might be
used in 32-bit mode and which return a 64-bit value.

Switch them to use the static_call() mechanism instead of pvops, as
this allows quite some simplification of the pvops implementation.
