I wonder, why don't you propagate error to the user? He may be
interested that you had troubles of getting some info, instead of silent
failure.
That is true.

If any of those functions fail the system messages will show the 
problem, but I agree the user invoking this devlink function should 
receive some feedback about it.
Don't forget to fillup extack message in case of error.
