[RFC PATCH v2 8/9] virtio/vsock: check SO_RCVLOWAT before wake up reader

STALE1523d

From: Arseniy Krasnov <hidden>
Date: 2022-07-25 08:11:59
Also in: kvm, linux-hyperv, lkml
Subsystem: networking [general], the rest, virtio and vhost vsock driver, virtio core, vm sockets (af_vsock) · Maintainers: "David S. Miller", Eric Dumazet, Jakub Kicinski, Paolo Abeni, Linus Torvalds, Stefan Hajnoczi, Stefano Garzarella, "Michael S. Tsirkin", Jason Wang, Eugenio Pérez

This adds extra condition to wake up data reader: do it only when number
of readable bytes >= SO_RCVLOWAT. Otherwise, there is no sense to kick
user, because it will wait until SO_RCVLOWAT bytes will be dequeued.
