[PATCH net-next v2 3/3] net: ethtool: Remove PHYLIB direct dependency

From: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
Date: 2020-07-06 04:28:17
Also in: lkml
Subsystem: networking [ethtool cable test], networking [ethtool], networking [general], the rest · Maintainers: Andrew Lunn, Jakub Kicinski, "David S. Miller", Eric Dumazet, Paolo Abeni, Linus Torvalds

Now that we have introduced ethtool_phy_ops and the PHY library
dynamically registers its operations with that function pointer, we can
remove the direct PHYLIB dependency in favor of using dynamic
operations.
