[PATCH net-next 4/4] net: ethtool: Remove PHYLIB dependency

From: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
Date: 2020-07-02 04:30:02
Also in: lkml
Subsystem: networking [ethtool cable test], networking [ethtool], networking [general], the rest · Maintainers: Andrew Lunn, Jakub Kicinski, "David S. Miller", Eric Dumazet, Paolo Abeni, Linus Torvalds

Now that we have converted the ethtool/cabletest code to use netdev_ops,
we can remove the PHY library dependency since the function pointers
will now be provided upon PHY attachment to the network device.
