Hi Peter, I think the vendor driver doesn't enable ASPM per default. So it's worth a try to disable ASPM in the BIOS or via sysfs. What you could do: - Test the r8169.c from 4.18 on top of 4.19. - Check whether disabling ASPM (/sys/module/pcie_aspm) has an effect. - Bisect between 4.18 and 4.19 to find the offending commit.
