Yes it is, I even checked manually tonight before posting:

/usr/src/linux/drivers/net/r8169.c as from today's SuSE "kernel source" 
package is attached.

If you could produce me a patch to bring this to current, I'd be very pleased 
to try it out.

... for the 8168/8111B, it is strongly suggested to use 2.6.21 +
