That's the upstream commit that doesn't boot. 
edebc0a1b7ab5ff19b4f5cd011c93196fc34b3e4 was the rebased version of 
the same commit, where your bisection finished.

I created a patch for reverting the code that leads to the issue.

I will further test KVM HV with the patched kernel.
