Well, I'm not the maintainer of the subsystem or of the driver, so I'm not going to be the one accepting/merging it :-) I'm just reviewing the patch, but yes, I think you should, and you should send it to the right people, ie, I think at least linux-scsi and possibly the author/maintainer of the driver itself.
