I have been loosely following the discussion about the new updated Sawtooth
mainboards and noticed that several people seem to be unable to use BootX on
those new machines.
people use yaboot. bootx probably won't be ported.
Last chance question: How easy or hard is it to obtain datasheets from ATI
(or from anybody else) for their current graphics chips? (I never programmed
a video driver, but I'd be motivated to try...)
ati is actually publishing programming info (but holding back on some
things like tv out). register as a developer at their site (can't remember
url)
