LinuxPPC audio?

Hi folks, I'm not a member of this list yet, but am very interested in trying out LinuxPPC on some of our B&W G3s. What's the scoop on audio under LinuxPPC? What API is used? I've heard OSS does not support LinuxPPC. Is full duplex audio a possibility? There are lots of apps. myself and some others would love to port over ...
