[Bug 214767] xfs seems to hang due to race condition? maybe related to (gratuitous) thaw.

Going through the log I can see that aside from 'sync' and the workers there is
a tar process that is stuck since 13:20 and not making any progress. I can also
not see any IO on the block device.
