[PATCH 2/3] tty: rocket: fix invalid user-pointer checks

From: Johan Hovold <johan@kernel.org>
Date: 2016-11-08 12:25:14
Also in: lkml
Subsystem: the rest, tty layer and serial drivers · Maintainers: Linus Torvalds, Greg Kroah-Hartman, Jiri Slaby

Drop invalid user-pointer checks from custom ioctl handlers.

A NULL-pointer can be valid in user space and copy_to_user() takes care
of sanity checking.
