[PATCH v3 3/5] quota: Don't issue audit messages on quota enforcing

From: cem@kernel.org
Date: 2026-07-02 09:37:16
Also in: linux-fsdevel, linux-xfs, lkml
Subsystem: diskquota, filesystems (vfs and infrastructure), the rest · Maintainers: Jan Kara, Alexander Viro, Christian Brauner, Linus Torvalds

From: Carlos Maiolino <cem@kernel.org>

Calling capable() to determine if we can bypass quota enforcement or not
can trigger spurious audit messages. We don't really require it here so
just use the capable_noaudit() version.
