I don't have a SPARC (running Linux) so it is hard to say... Someone did give me access to a sparc for a while and it seemed to work. Why don't you try it and share your experiences with us. There are issues with the 2.2 RAID patches on sparc. Is that what you are concerned about?? NeilBrown
