implicit declaration of function `BUILD_BUG'

when i compile the linux-2.6.14, i have too many warning as follow:

implicit declaration of function `BUILD_BUG'
include/asm/io.h:399: warning: implicit declaration of function `BUILD_BUG'

i have checked the io.h:399, but i can not find something wrong
can someone tell me why?
