Well, yeah, I remember there was some.. oddities, when I last checked with jstest.
Like a handful of axis seemingly doing nothing.
And I see I was only seeing a part of the actual problems.

Anyway, yeah I guess updating the input framework (ie evdev?) would be the solution. 
But I wouldn't know how else to help you there :s
Hoping to get ML right at least this time, I'm not CCing again people that may or may not be in the mood for 'spam'
