Hello,

I was trying to install the General Parallel File SYstem on RedHat 8.
The following error is displayed:
error: Failed dependencies:
        /bin/ksh is needed by gpfs.gpl-1.2.0-2.
don't know RH 8 or gpfs, but this error says, that
the ksh (kornshell) is missing, and installing the
pdksh-5.2.14-19.i386.rpm or whatever package is the
current one for RH 8, would help a lot ...

HTH,
Herbert
Is the particilar GPFS version appropriate for RedHat 8. Are there any
particular issues needs to be taken care to install GPFS on linux 8 .

Is there any other parallel file system which can be easily installed on
RedHat 8.

Please let me know your opinion.
