Font generation

Hi, Not sure if this query belongs to this forum sorry for that! How do we generate the fonts is there any tool to do it ? I was looking at the fbtest tool which has predefined fonts for sun which says its generated by cpi2fnt but I didnt find any tool to do that. Any pointers on this would be much helpful.
