[PATCH 1/1] video: uvesafb: Deletion of an unnecessary check before the function call "platform_devi

From: SF Markus Elfring <hidden>
Date: 2014-11-23 16:10:47
Also in: kernel-janitors, lkml
Subsystem: framebuffer layer, the rest, uvesafb driver · Maintainers: Helge Deller, Linus Torvalds, Michal Januszewski

From: Markus Elfring <redacted>
Date: Sun, 23 Nov 2014 17:05:18 +0100

The platform_device_put() function tests whether its argument is NULL
and then returns immediately. Thus the test around the call is not needed.

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.
