After enabling console on framebuffer, the background color is "blue"
background color should be "black" by default. What is the endianness of your host CPU and of the frame buffer?
. How can I change this color (to say black) ? Is this color specified by vc->vc_video_erase_char ?
To set black background try
# echo -e "\033[40m" > /dev/tty0
You could also try to set other bg colors and see what happens:
# for ((i = 40; i < 51; i++)) do echo -e "\033[${i}m > /dev/tty0"; done
No, it is not specified by vc->vc_video_erase_char but by upper nibble
of vc->vc_color, IIRC.
