Hi, I was using mplayer 0.90 in console (using -vo sdl:fbcon) and when I switched virtual terminal I got the following oops:
Kernel is UP with CONFIG_PREEMPT=y, video board is a Radeon 9500Pro
Turn of preempt and I bet your problem will go away.
