[PATCH 3/7] ext4: preserve the needs_recovery flag when the journal is aborted

From: Theodore Ts'o <tytso@mit.edu>
Date: 2017-02-05 07:34:35
Also in: stable
Subsystem: ext4 file system, filesystems (vfs and infrastructure), the rest · Maintainers: "Theodore Ts'o", Alexander Viro, Christian Brauner, Linus Torvalds

If the journal is aborted, the needs_recovery feature flag should not
be removed. Otherwise, it's the journal might not get replayed and
this could lead to more data getting lost.
