[PATCH 1/2] of: Remove of_dev_{get,put}()
From: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
Date: 2021-02-11 22:26:53
Also in:
cocci, linux-arm-kernel, linux-usb, linuxppc-dev, lkml, netdev
Subsystem:
arm/sti architecture, coccinelle/semantic patches (smpl), designware usb3 drd ip driver, linux for powerpc (32-bit and 64-bit), networking drivers, open firmware and flattened device tree, the rest, usb subsystem · Maintainers:
Patrice Chotard, Julia Lawall, Nicolas Palix, Thinh Nguyen, Madhavan Srinivasan, Andrew Lunn, "David S. Miller", Eric Dumazet, Jakub Kicinski, Paolo Abeni, Rob Herring, Saravana Kannan, Linus Torvalds, Greg Kroah-Hartman
of_dev_get() and of_dev_put are just wrappers for get_device()/put_device()
on a platform_device. There's also already platform_device_{get,put}()
wrappers for this purpose. Let's update the few users and remove
of_dev_{get,put}().
