[Bluez-users] Is it possible to send a message to an unconnected device. (from Newbie)

Dear all,

      I am just wondering whether if it is possible to send a message to an unconnected device with no pairing. (if I have already known the address of the target device.) 
My goal here is to safe some time from making a connection.
