(sending again, it looks like bcache list doesn't accept html formatted emails) Hi Eric, Sorry for the slow response. What kind of things you are looking for in a getting started guide? Would stuff in the following wiki section be useful? http://bcache.evilpiepirate.org/Bcache#Management In terms of sharp corners, things work in the configurations/kernel versions that we have been doing our testing with. However, we have got report of issues in other configurations and kernel versions; we'd like to think that there is no good way to make progress on that front short of other people testing/using it and that is already happening. Cheers. -- Nauman On Sat, Jun 30, 2012 at 9:00 PM, [off-list ref] wrote:
Hey All, The more I read, the more I'd like to try using bcache. I know the project is going through it's paces trying to get into the mainline kernel, but is there any resource for getting started with bcache right now? I am not a newbie, but I am having a hard time finding anything definitive out there. I finally found: http://bcache.evilpiepirate.org/GettingStarted git://evilpiepirate.org/~kent/linux-bcache.git Are there still too many "sharp corners"? Appreciate it.
