[PATCHv4 04/12] atomics/treewide: instrument xchg()

From: mark.rutland@arm.com (Mark Rutland)
Date: 2018-07-16 11:30:51
Also in: lkml
Subsystem: atomic infrastructure, generic include/asm header files, the rest, x86 architecture (32-bit and 64-bit) · Maintainers: Will Deacon, Peter Zijlstra, Boqun Feng, Arnd Bergmann, Linus Torvalds, Thomas Gleixner, Ingo Molnar, Borislav Petkov, Dave Hansen

While we instrument all of the (non-relaxed) atomic_*() functions and
cmpxchg(), we missed xchg().

Let's add instrumentation for xchg(), fixing up x86 to implement
arch_xchg().
