multi_v7_defconfig & MMU disabled, stderr was more verbose and was
unhappy with Kconfig dependencies,

SMP_ON_UP which has unmet direct dependencies (SMP && !XIP_KERNEL &&
MMU)

Ulterior motive here is to try !MMU on Cortex A
