Does it happen to fix the occasional:
acpi_bus-0447 [2181] acpi_bus_set_power : Device does not support
D1 acpi_power-0363 [2194] acpi_power_transition : Error transitioning
device [CFAN] to D0 acpi_bus-0496 [2193] acpi_bus_set_power : Error
transitioning device [CFAN] to D0

at boot time, and a consequent oops + hang of everything which makes
use of ACPI? This is so rare that I consider it a sort of hardware /
BIOS bug(happens once a month, or so), but I would be really happy to
have it fixed. Or is it only me who experiences those?
I think I have seen this too and yes I think it is gone now :)
At least the bootup error message does not appear anymore.
Unfortunately, I've experienced this at least once for the new BIOS.
Best regards,
