Now I compiled a new kernel 2.4.20 with the acpi kernel patch-20021212 and ACPI does not work anymore. :-( "ACPI: Found ECDT ACPI: Could not use ECDT" How comes? If it is of any help to you I would provide further information
It must be (well) known, but I don't have precise information. Please check out the ML archive for ECDT support status in the latest code.
