Hello,

Just some information from a user experience:

I installed acpi on my Sony Vaio Laptop, and my

the Power Control settings tab in KDE 3 still reported
acpi to be installed,
but missing modules for batteries and ac-adapters. I
patched klaptopdaemon

This is a bug to klaptopdaemon. ACPI don't state that an
AC adapter must be named 'AC'. You can call it 'FOO' if
you want. This bug should be also addressed to the maintainer of
klaptopdaemon, not here.
