3.0.0-rc? kernel suddenly loses sound on my ubuntu 11.10 system

  already debugged this -- turns out that i somehow deselected the
kernel config option TMPFS_POSIX_ACL (no idea how), which is required
for sound (and other things) on ubuntu.  re-selected, rebuilt and
everything is ok again.
