I'm working on a V4 that will incorporate the comments on V3 from
the mailing list and feedback from our beta testers of the experimental
version that we shipped in the GFW and GVFS versions of Git.

I'll hold V4 until after the v2.33 release.

Polishing based on feedback from dogfooders is really valuable.
